Refund Policy

1. Digital Goods

The Sister’s Remedy Bible is a digital product delivered electronically in PDF and EPUB format. Because digital goods can be copied after delivery, donations are generally non-refundable once the ebook has been successfully delivered to your email address.

2. EU Right of Withdrawal

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers in the European Union normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. However, in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Directive, this right is waived with your explicit consent at the point of checkout.

During checkout, you are asked to confirm that you consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the ebook has been sent. By completing your donation, you agree to these terms.

If you did not explicitly consent to waive the right of withdrawal, you may exercise your 14-day cancellation right by contacting us at sisters@ourladyofthemountain.org.

3. When Refunds Are Available

We will gladly issue a refund in the following circumstances:

  • Non-delivery — you did not receive the ebook within 24 hours of your donation (please check your spam/junk folder first).
  • Corrupted or unreadable files — the PDF or EPUB files you received are damaged and cannot be opened.
  • Duplicate charge — you were charged more than once for the same donation.
  • Unauthorised transaction — a payment was made without your knowledge or consent.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at sisters@ourladyofthemountain.org with the subject line “Refund Request”. Please include:

  • The email address you used at checkout.
  • The approximate date and amount of your donation.
  • A brief description of the issue.

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method via Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

5. Stripe Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is unauthorised, we encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve the issue quickly. If you file a chargeback (dispute) directly with your bank or card issuer, Stripe will handle the dispute process. Please be aware that chargebacks can take several weeks to resolve and may result in additional fees.

We are committed to resolving all legitimate concerns promptly and fairly. Reaching out to us directly is almost always the fastest path to a resolution.
